i honestly do not know what section of this great forum to place this, please mods assist me.

We have a borrowed culture of giving tips: in the banks, hotels, fast-food , infact everywhere..

i believe we are motivated to do so for varying different reasons. mine is usually because of the receivers of mine play on my my ego to make me feel bigger than i am not. i enjoi the feeling for that moment and hand out tips

so for u, why do you give tips...?

If I feel like. The same with giving beggars money.
