We all know it is not good to take hard drugs because it can harmfully affect the body and lead to addiction when taking too much. Due to this, these drugs are made illegal to purchase without a prescription to reduce the risk of people misusing them. There are various types of hard drugs, people claim that some give them a feeling of happiness.

My question is if someone took hard drugs without a prescription, without becoming addicted or harming their body (say they only took it once), this person has done something illegal (wrong by human laws) but has this person done anything wrong spiritually or does it follow the rule "drink but don't be drunk"? If you say it is wrong, please explain your point and if you say it is not wrong, please also explain.

Taking hard drugs is a sin and not something anyone should be contemplating at all, because it invariably leads to addiction.
When you are addicted on hard drugs,you lose control of your mind and senses at regular intervals.The human mind and senses are not meant to be lost control over, because demons are attracted to minds clouded over by drugs,that are no longer under the voluntary control of the person.They easily move in and manipulate the addict to even commit hideous crimes.
Sometimes when a drug addict is very agitated,he or she would often make growling noises like a savage beast.Under this condition,they can do the unimaginably horrible, because their senses have been beclouded by the drug effects.They begin to act like an aggressive lion or tiger most especially if you are in a confrontational mood with them.
Their bodies tense up like a cat spoiling for a battle,eyes bulge out aggressively, facial muscles quiver Taking hard drugs is a sin and not something anyone should be contemplating at all, because it invariably leads to addiction.

They have taken on the attributes of the demon of Beast called Beelzebub.
We often hear stories of people being raped or murdered horribly by someone high on drugs,both local and international.
One of the most dangerous things to do is being confrontational with someone lost in highness on drugs, because they are more like a threatened animal at that point in time and will kill you like a lion being threatened.

When talking about spirituality people look up to various school of thought so i will speak from the viewpoint of a follower of Christ.

According to God's word Jesus is the one and only counselor that all mankind must listen to in order to prevent God's wrath! John 3:16 compare to Matthew 17:5

We should be exemplary in the society so the habit of deriving joy through hard drugs makes no sense as the message we bear is joy on its own!
