Are you preparing for an exam? If so,have you read your books today? If not, then do so now. Go and carry your books and read. You can't pass your exams if you don't read your books. Reading is one of the keys to passing exams. To pass, you must read ooo!

No matter how difficult your exam questions may be,you can pass it. You just have to be totally prepared for the exam. Don't just go to the exam hall expecting some miracle to take place. Don't just take chances. You must prepare yourself adequately.

To pass your exam, take it serious:it is a serious matter and not a play thing. Don't just adopt ''I don't care'' attitude to your exams. Take it serious.

Apart from reading, you have to study if you want to pass your exams.Reading is ok but studying is deeper. Studying involves reading and finding out deeper meaning, finding out deeper layers of knowledge and research.Studying is the key! So study and study!

Early preparation is key. Those of you preparing for WAEC & NECO next year, you are suppsed to have started preparing for the exam since SS1. That is the fact! You need a three-year period(or more) to prepare for the exam in order to make good grades.

Go for lectures. If you're not in school, then find somewhere to attend lectures to acquire the knowledge you need to pass your exams. No knowledge is lost. You need someone to put you through.
Re: How To Pass Your Exams-by Tayo Demola by TayoDemola(m): 4:39pm On Oct 27, 2011
That is very true. No knowledge is lost. You really need someone to put you through those difficult and complicated areas. Whatever you don't know, ask. Ask questions. Don't be shy. Keep asking until you know it.
Re: How To Pass Your Exams-by Tayo Demola by TayoDemola(m): 7:24pm On Oct 27, 2011
Make notes or jottings during lectures. Don't make noise. I know some of you in my class that are noise-makers! If you make noise, you will not understand anything. If you don't understand what you're being taught, how can you pass?
Re: How To Pass Your Exams-by Tayo Demola by TayoDemola(m): 1:47am On Oct 28, 2011
Read your notes and jottings when you get home today.Make sure you read your note or jotter on the very day you wrote them. Don't leave it to the following day. This helps you to familiarize yourself with what you were taught. This is a process in learning.

Make use of relevant study materials/resources while studying. Some of them are: Textbooks, handouts, the internet(for research),the library(for reading & research). You can NEVER fail if you do the right thing. Do the right thing and be among those who will pass.
Re: How To Pass Your Exams-by Tayo Demola by TayoDemola(m): 2:42am On Oct 28, 2011
Do the right thing and you will pass your exam. It is not whether there is mass failure that matters to you. What matters to you is that YOU will pass even if everyone else fails! But if you don't prepare yourself seriously for the exam, you won't pass.

Make sure you read and study in a very quiet environment. Your reading should be best done in the midnights. Don't read in a noisy environment. You will not understand anything if you do.

Don't use any substance or drug to prevent you from sleeping while reading. Also, don't put your legs in water to prevent sleep as some people believe. If you feel sleepy,go to sleep. Obey the call of nature to avoid health implications for yourself,ok?

You are are right bro but at times Anxiety can be helpful in motivating us to study and in improving performance, but very occasionally, it can lead to students feeling paralyzed and unable to perform to the best of their ability. @TayoDemola
all the methods given above are what will work for anyone who wants to pass in flying colours in secondary school level. But once you get to the higher institution, it's a different ball game entirely. Many things would be considered.E.g the type of institution(private or public), The department(This will tell on whether to read or research or do more calcultions), the type of lecturers(This will tell on whether to read or block).

Trust me higher institutions varies and even in the same institutions department varies. What am simply trying to explain is that in higher institution you do not apply one method to pass
