Back in the year 2011, the father of modern African Literature Chinua Achebe, turned down a million dollar offer from American rapper 50 Cent to use the title "Things Fall Apart" on a forthcoming movie. The said novel was first published in 1958, and is listed as one of the most read books in Modern African Literature Which has sold over 20-million copies worldwide. However, the movie was later titled "All Things Fall Apart" in a plight to turn down the money. His children must be very proud of him for turning down such a useless offer.
