If we look at this event through modern eyes, one will quickly come to the realization that it is not such a miracle after all. Why is that? Because, with this event, we may be talking about an ancient brazen display of high tech to a desert nomad who has never witnessed a high tech before in his life, thereby seeing the event as a "miracle".

In today's state of the art high tech society, to make a bush talk while on fire that does not consume it is quite easy for those at the top of the planetary technology pyramid. The technology is already available to do this audiovisual realtime, real life SFX trick.

1) High end 3D holographic projection technology should take care of the of the non-consuming fire, and i am sure that was what was projected unto that particular bush to make it look like it was burning. Of course, the fire did not burn the bush because the fire wasn't real. It most probably was just a holographic projection that looked real enough to have convinced Mr. Moses. Very much like the virgin Mary holographic projections seen in some christian churches in the last few months and years which really convinced a lot of religious folks.

2) We already know about audio projection. This technology is already in use in the advertising world to throw voices into customers ears when they approach a soft drink rending machine, for ex. Such rending machines are on the US streets and in Japan as well.

Now combine these two techies together and you have your biblical "talking burning bush" SFX show. So, it is conceivable that it actually happened. Now, the question that a sceptic would ask is; "Where is the proof that such high tech knowledge was available in ancient times?" The answer to that are the ooparts that have been dug up by archaeologists for many years now. The Pyramids of Giza and the Pumapunku ruins are perfect examples that there were civilizations on this planet in ancient times with technological knowhow that makes ours today seem puny. And the reason why they were venerated as GOD(S) by ancient man was exactly because of this super high technology/scientific knowledge.

Never read such a hogwash of an article in 2011 until this nonsense came up.

One thing is for sure, the author of the original article is far from an intelligent mind.

Why is it a hogwash, big-frosbel? It is quite plausible, you know. High tech show met a simple stone age nomad which then became a miracle. I'd like to know why you think it is all hogwash, though. Should be interesting.

Nope.

Why? You can't cope with the idea that high tech existed in the ancient(biblical) times? I personally believe that was the case.
jayriginal:

Nope.
That was on what all the "Gods/Godesses" myths were based. If you really study the bible stories what you will immediately discover is the existence of two civilizations separated by a vast gulf of science and technological capabilities between them. The "god civilizations" were the super high tech civilizations existing at that time, while the non-technological stone age communities venerated them(understandably) as gods/goddesses simply because of this vast difference in technological capabilities. This technological gulf can even still be seen in our modern times.

Right on Bro. All the religious mythos from different cultures all around the world clearly point to the existestence of a a technologically advance race of beings who lorded over the entire earth in ancient times. They showcased their advanced knowledge on the pyramids, Baalbeck and other ancient artifacts. The flew in the sky(boats of heaven)("and jehova led the isrealites by a pillar of smoke in the day and pillar of fire in the night"-genesis}. They fught wars amongst themselve using humans as proxies.
