Missing N135mn, $50,000: The documents PMAN president is trying to hide from the public.

A three page document that exchanged hands via emails between two executive members of PMAN (Performing Musicians Employers Association of Nigeria) on the one hand, and the Account Officer of the controversial account allegedly opened with a third generation bank by the embattled national president of PMAN, Mr Pretty Okafor without approval, on the other hand, has been exclusively made available to #GhostNote242 on Instagram.

Names of the officer and the bank are withheld for now. A reliable source said there are plans to privately resolve the matter, while some are insisting on clearing their names before another team of executive members are sworn-in in a credible election.

The last election that returned Okafor as president could be nullified for it's hasty conduct, ahead of the February 2024 instructed by a court in Ibadan, Oyo State, in 2020.

The documents clearly show conversations among the three individuals in the thick of the allegations of fund misappropriation by the executive members in question.

Information has it that some lawyers (from a neutral firm), after having gone through the constitution of PMAN, and asked for interpretation on the culpability of the duo in the alleged financial misappropriation, affirmed in their report that the PMAN president breached all the three rules as stipulated in the book, and risked being prosecuted not only by the EFCC, but by the Court, for his gross mismanagement of the association's funds.

The president is running helter skelter to keep the information from the general public because he is particularly worried that his image might be damaged. Others from his region are said to be jostling to take over from him to cover his misdeeds, as well as erase the impression that his kind are fraudulent administrators, but good traders.

Shocking, however, is the stand of Boniface Itodo, who has debunked all the allegations, and refutted the clarifications made by the lawyers, insisting that no fraud has been committed by the president and the secretary general of PMAN.

Every Nigerian want to get into position to steal.

Is there any other place humans are innately corrupt like Nigeria?

Where did we get our sense of individualism from instead of collectivism or collective good?

You want to steal from the till, erect building, send your kids to a good school and then drive a good car, so you can lord it over your community or those close to you?

You wonder why we kill humans thinking there's a ritual from that that can bring money.

We can destroy anything to make personal gains. It's that bad.

Like Boris Johnson wrote many years ago about us, our love for money is unmatched anywhere in the world.
