Smh.

Please don't get it twisted, what you see today was by dint of hardwork and courageous, visionary, brilliant and pragmatic rebuilding of our city after the rest of Nigeria abandoned Lagos and flee back to their villages after the annulment of 1993 presidential election.

Our state and the rest of South West states were full of abandoned dilapidated FG structures. Even our prestigious universities, UNILAG, UI and OAU were starved of funds because brilliant Yoruba students and highly sophisticated Yoruba intelligentsia were for our illustrious son and winner of the June 12 Presidential election, Chief MKO Abiola, GCFR.

We had to build our own port, railway, teaching hospital, bridges, telco, central business districts, security architecture, civil service etc from a city you all abandoned with filth, bomb blast, Idi Araba wars, atlantic ocean erosion etc.

May the souls of our Yoruba leaders murdered on the streets of Lagos and in their homes in Abeokuta, Ibadan and other Yoruba cities and towns continue to rest in peace. They paid the ultimate price as the Yoruba leaders who saw and fought for us to achieve what you all now see today and covet.

While the same people who fled Lagos for their villages were making fun of the Yoruba then and thought that the west has lost, our Yoruba leaders never gave up, they toiled hard to defend our institutions and value system despite being abandoned by the rest of Nigeria and a vindictive FG military government. Many were assassinated while many flew abroad. One was locked up for years and at the point of death, lucky to be freed from prison to rule Nigeria for 8 years, one of those forced to flee abroad is today Nigeria's President. Unfortunately, many Yoruba leaders didn't make it to even witness the democracy and Lagos of today they fought for.

Watching your leaders being assassinated while defending their people is not an advantage to the Yoruba, it's man-made adversity. We turned our adversity to progress. What you see today was built on sweat and blood of those slain Yoruba leaders. God bless their souls.

What are your Jibo family waiting for,? Oni kuure if all these refugees deserted their poto poto region to escape from Simeon Ekpa.boys Horror. They came to Lagos with Nylon bags and bathroom slippers to Lagos State.....to hawk gala and soft drinks on Lagos island and 3rd mainland bridge....some are here in Lagos State selling pirated CDs/DVDs around the Alaba market...

The truth is that there are 350 tribes in Nigeria...and all the 350. tribes are represented in Lagos State... for commerce and enhancing their career. Nah only this Jibo. People go dey shout say nah dem own all the houses in Lagos State...

Dangote has the largest refinery in Nigeria, the refinery is situated in Lagos state...yet people of Kano and Fulani people still keep their good relationship with their host community in Lagos State...but all these Jibo People Are miscreants
