You see, before nowadays humans only needed enough to live comfortably, example, shelter, food and lives stock from their lands, maybe cloths (depending on what they wore at that time) anyone who can live comfortably do not need excess unnercerssary wealth or money.

But thesedays humans have become very selfish, materialistic money/wealth obsessed. Humans wants to own six houses, 7 vehicles, a whole house full with expensive cloths, shoes and accessories. Humans have started struggling or feels they are sruggling because they are wanting more and more and more of things they want rather than what they need.

Being wealthy is relative, if i can make enough to live comfortably as i have chosen to live, I work hard towards it so that would mean i don't need God's favours if has always being natural for man to work to feed his families, animals still does so. humans do not need any favours to achieve what they already has the natural abilities to achieve, they only began to seek some divine favours or miracles from God when they began wanting more and more of what they do not need, like 6 mansions or 1 dozen Range Rovers . grin

These are my views anyway. You don't have to agree.

Thank you for sharing this. You made a very powerful point.

That human selfishness you mentioned is what makes the resources ought to be shared unaccessible to everyone.

Working hard enough today doesn't mean one would be comfortable and able to afford basic things, especially in Nigeria.

While some struggle in a bid to get more material things, others are victims of those who greedily hold on to resources the struggling people should benefit from-A case of Nigerian politicians.

God's favour in this case would then amplify a man's work to move him above the selfishness of other men

Makes a lot of sense.

In the case of Naigerian politicians greed, Naigerians, the struggles and hardship. The blame should go to the Naigerians masses. What you should understand is tbat the Naigerian politiicans emerged from or are chosen by the masses and the masses are the same people enabling their politicians in their corrupt practises and artrocities

Example, Naigerian politicians would not be able to embezzle funds, implement their corrupt practises, intimidate or harrass ordinary Naigerians wiihout the help of other Naigerians. Another problem is tribalism and ethnic
discriminations, Now, these problem can be resolved without God's favours or interventions. Naigerians should first recognise that they are no different from their politicians in terms of greed, selfishness and being corrupt. If they want to fix the problems they should begin with themselves once the masses behaviours changes positively the politicians would have no choice but change also. Co's no Naigerian would help them implement their corrupt practises anymore.

This is how Naigerians politicans rules Naigerian, very simple, Keep them poorer, angry, hungry, divide them tribalistically and give them circus and little food to feed on and watch them fight themselves. Create the problem and pretend to help in solving the problems grin And it will never change for better because every up comming Naigerian politicians will use the same method co's they all have the same mindset.

As much as I want to agree with you that the problems can be resolved without God's favour or intervention because most are man-made/ man- controlled.

You must understand that the Nigeria has a systemic issue backed up by deep spiritual influences.

It's easy to talk down on the spiritual influences because they are not usually publicised and you can't really connect the spiritual influence to the systemic problem mentally unless you are spiritual.

Every strategy of keeping the people poor, angry, hungry, divided etc...are all insured by spiritual invocations. Mentally, this sounds absurd but in reality, it's the current situation.

Have you wondered why despite the hardship, the people can't unite and fight the source of the hardship?

Nigeria needs a deep systemic cleansing.
It will take a lot of people to fight the current ills.

Yes, the problems are man made, therefor man should resolve the problems. I agree that MOST Naigerians like you BELIEVES their system is backed spiritually or influenced spiritually, atleast that is what Naigerians are made to believe by their politicians through so called prophets, pastors and churches. grin what Naigerians do not realise.is that these so called evangelists and pastors are in cohort with politicians. Religion and false news medias are another tools used by Naigerian politicians to keep the masses ignorant and their attention diverted from the real problem. These formats are not new, politicians in poor countries use it also, Mexico, Brazil, Africa Philipine, Vietnam (buddist) India, Pakistan (christianity and islam) Jamaica and many more.it has always worked for corrupt politicians, make the masses believe that we the looting corrupt thieving polticians are not the problem. The problem are spiritual so pray, pray pray and pray, while we steal, loot and launder the nation's funds. grin

In Brazil there is a 50 feet statue of Jesus christ in the most poorest slum of Brazil where the poor goes to pray and ask Jesus to provide the them with their needs while in the wealthy part of Brazil rich politicians are living in mansions with no single church in that area.

In Naigerria politicians travel abroad for the most lucrative medical treatments while urging the poor sick naigerian masses to pray for God's favour and interventions. The politicians do not even believe in God's favours or interventions hence they full their banks with so much money to pay for their medical needs or other needs.

Did you read the case of Mr Ekweremmadu, that would explain part of my point clearly to you. If it were in Naigeria Ekweremmadu would go scot free, over here we don't need God's favours or interventions to know that politicians should and must be held accountable for being corrupt or untrustworthy or be put in prison for crimes committed.

What Naigeria needs if you ask me is to split, Naigeria is like 4 nations in one. Otherwise it would never work, it doesn't matter who is the president or how religious and spiritual people believe the problems are. Naigerians need to be realistic and practical.
