Honour your father and your mother that your days might be long. Obey your father and mother in the Lord that you may eat the good of the land. To every blessing in the Bible there are things expected for you to do; some life principles to obey and if you fail to do them the otherwise comes upon such a person. Curses can also be attracted from our leaders, elders and parents and it takes an authority of the same potency or an higher authority to break such curses. I'll advice you read more books and listen to more sermons about this. If you study the Bible more you'll more than enough examples of people that brought calamities (curses) upon their lives by what they did
