ONDO MY HOME

MY HOME,MY PRIDE... Where goats are for merriment, dogs for d gods and COCOA as revenue, the unique symbol of the ONDO's... We eat asun, dance "ujo obitun" and don't joke with "iyan" and "obèla lasèpo.... or with "efo riro" which must have "likotokiti". And when we see "Alàari" (loi aso), our heart rejoices. I was born into a very rich culture, a land where "lokili, obì and gbànja" are gods' delicacies.Where our high self esteem is mistaken as pride by foreigners, and our joviality misconceived as promiscuity. I come from a land distinguished by people who have confidence in themselves, elegant people and those with intense beauty. Where prestige is the water we drink, we are delighted in our tribal marks, "omò mulà mèji oju sèye"... We are indeed wonderful, I am not only African, not just Nigerian, but an ORIGINAL UNADULTERATED ONDO BLOODED.. Thumbs up to all sons and daughters of ODE ONDÒ.

Wow, this writeup brought memories of my NYSC days at Ondo East while always going to Ondo Town to meet friends and banking transactions back then in 2009/2010 batch B service year.
Places like Bolorunduro, Sashere, Fagbo, and some places I can't remember.
Bolorunduro must have developed by now

with all what you ha e written about Ondo so far, Ondo is your first home, you are only related to them at Ikare.
Ondo is seriously fast developing, that Niepa you mentioned, a plot of land is almost 5m there now

honestly. Very lovely town. Na there I see people carry raw cash up ₦5million in a nylon bag and travel for a very long distance on Okada, the money will be exposed that everyone will see it, yet nothing will happen.
