This is the beginning. The state should be planning for the next chapter. The cctv of the complex should be efficient to capture those with sinister moves. Most SMEs are stolen from till.they.die. There must be structure around the company for sustainability. The raw materials sources must all year round. The plan should be to privatize the company say in five years with govt not holding more than 20 percent. Spread.ownership first among all local government areas on Kwara State and in nigeria

How many people are employed every year in Kwara state by the government to provide all the services and utilities that the state and its local governments are required to provide? Services and utilities like water and sanitation as well as free education for all children.

Ever heard of Non farm payroll?.
Government can empower the youths to be self employed, when the self employed youths eventually grow their business, they will still be creating jobs and be employing people or are you anti job creation?.

I was referring to the government to create and sponsor self employment for youths, not trying to employ everyone into the civil service.

These are the kind of industries our Individual state governors should create to reduce unemployment across the nation and not palliatives. The billions been stolen daily In the nation should be enough to sack unemployment.
Everyone should hold their state governor responsible if we truly need development.

The mentality around state governance is that you go to the bottomless national pocket backed by crude oil, get allocation, and spend like a loose mistress. Using as little as possible to do needed things and spending on self as much as possible.
This kind of venture Kwara is embarking on should be the primary goal of every entity we call state and not the rockstar status our leaders try to maintain at all means.

The bridge is a disgrace, honestly. Countries are doing subways and over water bridge but we've not completed ordinary archaic bridge since 2021. I learnt the contractors have been made rich by the bridge. Also, a Chinese firm alerted the Kwara state govt to danger cos of the inferior nature of the bridge. The thread is somewhere on NL.

I'll once I have specific metrics. But judging generally from the standard of living and cost of living, I think it's way worse. My opinion.
