We wish to inform you about an important change in the NYSC registration process regarding the verification of your date of birth.

Historically, NYSC relied on the date of birth data provided through the JAMB portal. However, with the recent integration of the National Identification Number (NIN), there have been some modifications.

As the system transitions, we understand there might be confusion on whether the date of birth for the NYSC mobilization process will be pulled from the JAMB database or from the details provided through your NIN.

We are currently awaiting official confirmation on the definitive source of this information moving forward. Rest assured, we will keep you updated as soon as clarity is provided by the authorities.

For now, we advise all prospective corps members to ensure that their date of birth is correctly captured in both the JAMB and NIN databases to prevent any discrepancies during the NYSC registration process.
