LIST OF IKOYIS IN YORUBALAND:

Ikoyi - Oyo state, Oriire LG
Ikoyi - Osun state, Ife Central LG
Ikoyi - Lagos state, Eti osa LG
Ikoyi - Ekiti state, Ikole LG
Ikoyi - Kogi state, Ijumu LG
Ikoyi - Ondo state, Etikan, Ilaje LG
Ikoyi - Osun state, Ilesha West LG
Ikoyi - Ogun state, Owode LG
Ikoyi - Osun state, Isokan LG
Ikoyi - Ondo state, Akure South LG

One very interesting and unique feature which cements the identity of oneness in the entire Yorubaland is the re-occurrence of certain place names repeating across the entire Yoruba landscape.

Other good examples are; Ife, Ayetoro, Kajola, Ajegunle, Ifon, Araromi, Egbeda and Owode.

These repetition in place names are because of ancient migrations of Yoruba people as well as dynastic interrelationships between the old founding members of the Yoruba homeland.

But yet people like you will come and argue with Igbos that all the Igbo named towns and cities outside the south east are not Igbos, hypocrisy
