A Benin-based Nollywood actor, Mr. Daniel Iyamu, has been allegedly killed in his sleep by his wife in Ugbihoko quarters, Egor North-East Local Government Area of Edo State.
Source gathered that the remains of the late Iyamu were found on his bed by his neighbours, who forced his door open following cries from his children that their father was yet to get out of bed at 10am.
It was also gathered that the late artiste was said to have sustained injuries on his head, which suggested that he might have been hit on the head while asleep.The late actor’s daughter, Faith, a student of Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, told journalists that their mother has been suffering from suspected mental illness which their father had been treating since last year.
