iLegendd:You be big fool, they don't have bike? Can't they bury the money somewhere and dig it up at a convenient time. Can't they ask for the payment to be in gold or other valuables. You most be the most dumbest person to link depreciation of currency to end of kidnapping. With little reasoning I can still come up with atleast 5 ways they can move such bags (if we are working with the assumption of cash) without been traced. They swear for you sai make you no use your brain? Can't go low to insult or blame your parents, they did their best, na you just choose to be an ignorant negro with a low frequency of analytical and logical acumen. 1 Like |

malali:man you're a liar you inflated all those figures to sound dramatic, with $30 you can get unlimited internet, calls and text. you can never get such at that price in nigeria. 24/7 electricity not up to $150 per month stop lying. and in which hospital do you pay $350 for headace (drop image) in a place where healthcare is purposely free as long as you're paying taxes. you also didnt mention quality of life, and income in those countries. you want to compare the rubbish healthcare in nigeria to the Uk, you deserve serious cane. wt 1 Like |

No difference between the Nigerian and the Zimbabwean dollars. It was said once that if you want to buy a load of bread in Zimbabwe, you need a truck load of Zimbabwean dollars 🤣 |

chatinent: Yeah, which is why I have never been impressed with any of our leaders. The truth is, all our leaders are alike. They have one formula...pay for as many goodies as possible using oil money. The problem is, oil money is not enough and has never been enough. But most people think it is and blame corruption...true corruption is to blame partially, but that is not the whole picture. TO become like diversified nations , industrial nations, means hardships. NO one likes hardships. |

Re: Naira Vs Dollar: A Picture With Deep Meaning. by nairalanda1(m): 9:50am On Feb 19 |
pocohantas: Yes, portability is good, but the fact that redenominating N1000 to N10 does not mean that naira is all of a sudden a currency with value. Or that inflation won't soon make the whole thing useless. |

malali:you've ignored my questions and now talking more trash. which wealthy person doesnt have visa abroad. show me one, and ill delete all my posts. they all have visa to japa at any slight provocation. even your politicians who steal billions dont base in nigeria, their kids are abroad. besides healthcare is free in all developed countries as long as you're paying your tax. stop decieving gullible people here into thinking what is happening in nigeria is normal everywhere. it's not at all.. |

Nvestor02: What is the economic benefit or we just go along with others and reduce ours to kobo and shillings Will it also affect the exchange rate Just give the benefit and cost implications of throwing away 1000, 500, 200 and 100 naira notes |

headboyprince: Have you heard the saying "There is no free lunch even in freetown." In UK, the NHS has a long waiting list, if you need some services done you would have to wait 8 months, if you die before then, thats your problem. For the free healthcare. In USA, if you dont have health insurance, you contribute $300/month your employer pays $300 total $600, you wont get free healthcare. If you dont have a job, you will buy health insurance for $500/month and you pay every month wether you are sick or not. Nigerians have a lot of misconception about everything free abroad. Dey Play. The people that wanted free labour and came to africa to capture human beings as slave, you think they will be generous to be giving you good life for free. |
