Biaflan man,

Fashola established IPP in Lagos.
Otedola has many power plants in Lagos, likewise Davido's Dad.

Ibo land is the most backward region since I independence
bla bla bla. If mouth could give power, Lagos should be having steady power.

It's not about government project but having a sustainable private sector driven energy solution.

Government has no business in business but this is APC's format. They seize power to colonize private sector business to make the profit.

How can a government be the regulator LAMATA and still be involved in the business itself?

This is why Obasanjo, Yaradua and Jonathan got things under control despite their shortcomings..they allowed free markets...but Tinubu and his boys they want to run the state and the business so that capture all the business and people will be at their mercy...from LAKE rice to BRT...they own it and they can fix prices as they please..

Can't they just allow anyone with a big bus that meets LAMATA's spec to put their bus on the BRT corridors then tax them for it? As that it is how supply can meet up with demand.

Not all this we are buying bus yen yen yen..

That money for buying Bus and launching Lag ride can be used to do more corridors.

They should stick to the Fashola PPP model that fixed the waste disposal system.

Lagosians are sick and tired of news about government buying buses and the likes.
Let Lagos State government also invest in power generation and distribution , to boost electricity supply there contributing economic growth. transportation is not the only sector that demands attention. Yesterday it was blue line, last month it was red line, haba!
The last time Lagos tried generating what happened?

Bros this is good no doubt,

the questions we should be asking here in Lagos, is what will they be using to charge those buses??

If Sanwo is Serious let him work on providing 24/7 Electricity and cheap too, and see the wonders it will do,

Lagos for all its glories is being held back by the electric issues
do you think the government won’t have factored that into there plans? I think we were told sometime ago that they were partnering with oando on buildings some charging stations.

Lagos has 3 power plants built b4 new law of state independence of electricity above 15MW
Now they can now build a bigger power plant of their own if not because of such law b4

Lagos will have 24hrs electricity now they have to build new power plants from scratch it takes several years to complete they should start now

Lol.. at what fare price. BRT mass transit bus that is supposed to be the last hope of workers to go to work is now more expensive than private yellow buses. 70 sitting, 70 standing is now expensive than pharagon and LT and private cars.
From Abulegba to Oshodi is N550 on BRT, but LT and pharagon takes N400k. Its N450 to Ikeja, private cars and LT takes N300. Its only on Mondays BRT sees pax. Every other days, they just get pax in trickles. If the Red rail is the same, the state govt will have to fill it with their families. Nothing Lagos does is meant for the average people. Its always for the rich or above average. So sad.

That's the thing, those countries that used electricbuese and cars had been having stable lights, the don't have to partner any firms for charging port,

As I said before, provide the electricity and cheap too, and see

that's all
