Arrogance and lack of self control has taken the lady to where she no know.
The police and the courts want to humiliate her, that's why she's getting 30-days for a start until the next adjournment.
30-days in the prison and she'll prolly be found guilty, fined and sentenced (ex-convict).
Not good for her at all, she might also be told to pay hospital bills as the policewoman injured her back in the fall (will most likely come up) angry angry angry angry angry

This is totally wrong, believe me have done it long time to a police officer on road block far back 2001, he's own case was even worse than this, cos he wanted to deflate my tyres and I refused.
It was my boss that saw me on his way home that now begged the officer and gave him a tip cos he was wounded, I regretted my action anyway undecided

Gistmedia10:
The Lagos State Police Command has taken swift action against a woman caught on camera assaulting a police officer in Ajah on February 21, 2024. Omorogbe Jennifer Soni, a 26-year-old woman, was charged with serious assault following a heated argument with the officer.

The altercation took a physical turn when Omorogbe attempted to reach her car, pushing the female officer forcefully to the ground. This disturbing incident was captured on camera, leading to her arrest by the police.

According to a statement from SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the command, Omorogbe was promptly arraigned the day after the incident, on February 22, 2024, at the Etiosa Magistrate Court in Ajah. The court ordered her remand at the Kirikiri Female Correctional Centre until her next hearing on March 27, 2024.

In his statement, Hundeyin reiterated the commitment of the Lagos State Police Command to uphold the law and ensure the safety of all residents. He urged Lagosians to remain law-abiding in their daily interactions, warning that anyone found guilty of similar offenses would face the full consequences of the law.

but what actually happened. I honestly don't believe that girl will assault that police officer, if the police officer haven't provoked her.

An average Nigerian is lawless and uncivilised. That's why Nigeria has bad leaders. The average Nigerians are the ones that abuse power when they become public servants. Imagine what this accused lady can do if she is a councillor, a governor or a senator.

Jennyclay will avoid this thread.

Heaven knows what the NPF and the society would have done if the accused is a male, especially for the fact that the assaulted officer is a female.

Fact and Truth in the same statement.
Most times, people are worse than those they criticize.

Selective Justice!
The lady is wrong to have pushed an officer of the law so she deserves what she has got.

But this is, to some extent because it's on camera

How many injustices go unaddressed because they are not on camera...both by the citizenry against uniformed officers and by uniformed officers against the citizenry?

Even if the olopa abuses your mother, no touch am.

Because if you lay hand on the olopa, section 98 Of the 2020 police act comes into play. And there is nothing that can be done.

But the officer is a proof that the NPF is filled with incompetent individuals. Falling just like that when pushed by a fellow woman? How strong is she to secure her duty post?

Falling how,is there a systematic law for falling can't you see it was unexpected. Am sure you sef will just fly like feather.
