YouWiN! stands for Youth Enterprise with Innovation in Nigeria. It is an innovative business plan competition aimed at job creation by encouraging and supporting aspiring entrepreneurial youth in Nigeria to develop and execute business ideas.

Timelines for the Competition
All applicants should take note of the following critical
dates for this competition:
1. First round business concept submission closes on Friday November 18, 2011. No entries will be accepted after that date.
2. Notification of second round candidates and invitation for zonal training will occur on a rolling basis as entries are received and evaluated. Training for the first batch of second round will take place between Sunday November 27 and Saturday, December 10, 2011.
3. Submission of second round business plan entries closes on Saturday January 7, 2012.
4. Notification of winners will be completed by Tuesday, January 24, 2012

This is a bad govrnment initiative killer program,for it render our graduate handicap after despatchd certificate will be exchanged for 250,000 and such set of people can never get govnment job again,so how much can this little peanut do? And what will happen to uneducated youth who is at the mercy of God for survival,the money should have been like 1milion naira if they realy want to empower d youth,how much are Senators salaries and most of them dnt have this qualification.federal Govt Initiative and talents killer

I don't think there is a set amount as you declared 'N250K'.

For me If you can get an analytical and constructive business plan in place, you may be lucky to get Millions out of the initiative.

I heard from a confirm beneficiary of d initiative,she said beside d trainin d amount to be given is 250,000k wit ur nysc dispatch certificate.

YouWin grant is not only for NYSC graduates, it even applies to students many of whom scaled through the second phase. For those starting new businesses will get 1-4.5million while those with existing businesses can access up to 10million Naira. There is no need to have a NYSC certificate. All you need is any government issued Identity card
