On Thursday night, Liverpool will resume their Europa League campaign when they go to the Czech Republic to play Sparta Prague in the round of 16.

The Reds hope to bring an advantage back to Anfield in just one week when they play their opening leg at the epet Arena. Liverpool may not be fully healthy for their journey to Prague, though, as injuries are still plaguing Jurgen Klopp’s team. Liverpool faces championship rivals Manchester City this Sunday.

The Reds, who most recently pulled off a 1-0 victory away at Nottingham Forest over the weekend, have won their past six games across all competitions. In the fight for the Premier League title, Darwin Nunez’s goal in the 99th minute proved vital, and Liverpool is still in the running for an improbable quadruple this season.

With five victories in seven games since their return from the winter break, Sparta is likewise in excellent form going into their biggest game of the season. As they attempt to retain their title, they are currently four points clear of local rivals Slavia Prague in the Fortuna Liga standings.
