[size=20pt]Do you think people like D'banj, Aki & Pawpaw, Don Jazzy and other xters in Nigeria that are recipients of our National award deserve it? I only know of Prof. Chinua Achebe, yet he's shunning the award amongst others. Can we quantify how positively each of these people (D'Banj & co) has imparted on Nigeria? If Snoop Doggy Dog and Tupac Shakur were Nigerians they would be the highest on our award list for OFR, MON, etc. Are we truly progressing? Why aren't the likes of Oga Bello, Aluwe, Jide Kosoko, Tunde Kelani and Tade Ogidan get these awards too? Are we saying the likes of Aki & Pawpaw have imparted Nigeria better than Jide Kosoko & co  God Bless Nigeria![/size] |

Its really sad the level our government has condescended to. What have they done to deserve those award, they don't make positive music to say the least. Probably that is the reward they get for campaigning for GEJ. I smh for this country. Who's getting the award next Cossy Orjiakor? |
