Veritas University, Abuja has emerged winner of the 3rd African Telecommunications Union (ATU) Africa Innovation Challenge which held in Nairobi, Kenya.

The win comes with a cash prize of a $20,000 grant.

The award ceremony took place in Nairobi with the Nigerian High Commissioner in Kenya accepting the award on behalf of the university.

Veritas University’s Software Engineering Lab won the competition with its innovative initiative which focused on providing hands-on learning experiences for young innovators.

The university was also the African representative at the World Universities Debating contest which held March 2024 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Established 2007, Veritas University is a private university located at Bwari Zuma Road, Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nigeria.
