Paris 2024 Olympics: D’Tigress Drawn Against Canada, Australia, France


Nigeria’s D’Tigress have been drawn in a difficult group in women’s basketball event of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

In Tuesday’s draw, held at the Patrick Beau man’s house in Switzerland, D’Tigress were drawn in Group B with Canada, Australia and hosts France.

Canada, Australia and France are ranked higher than the Nigerian women’s basketball team.

While D’Tigress are ranked 12th in the world, Australia are third, Canada are fifth and France occupy number seven.

At the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, D’Tigress were also drawn with France and lost to the European side.

This is the third time D’Tigress will qualify for the Olympics Games after featuring at Athens 2004 and Tokyo 2020.

Nigeria done ja. I know people will see I have negative mind and I am not wishing Nigeria well but sometimes we just have to say the truth how it is. Just imagine they put super eagles in a group that has Argentina, France and Spain, that is how this group is. France and Australia are very good at basketball, Canada are coming up too, although dey are better than us at it.
