I want this thread basically for learning purposes.

With the high rate of promiscuity in our girls these days, I am beginning to doubt the effect of the campaign against female circumcision.
The internet is littered with information about the negative effects of female circumcision, some of which are constant pain, pain and difficulty having sex, repeated infections, which can lead to infertility, bleeding, cysts and abscesses, problems peeing or holding pee (incontinence), depression, flashbacks and self-harm, problems during labour and childbirth.
All this information is against the reason why our fore-parents practiced that, which was basically to control promiscuity in the girl child, although most of our fore-parents never had Western education but they were full of wisdom.

As you can see we already have an idea of how Western education and culture want us to think, but let us find out what is obtainable down here in our culture and environment.

So can the ladies in the house tell us their experiences being circumcised, especially in the aspect of desire and sexual satisfaction, promiscuity, child birth(vaginal delivery) and its complication and psychological issues(shame, depression, anxiety).
Also, do you think the practice helps to curtail waywardness in ladies?

And what helps to contain "waywardness" in guys?
