HOLY WEEK: Maundy Thursday! Today commemorates the Last Supper of Jesus Christ with His Disciples, Washing of the feet, which teaches us the significance of HUMILITY, SELFLESSNESS and SERVICE to others.

Unfortunately, SERVANT LEADERSHIP is what is missing in our societies today, that is why our country is in chaos.

May God open the eyes of every leader to SERVE humanity rather than to LEAD.

Jesus never exhibited dictatorial attribute despite He is God. It was very difficult for the people to distinguish Him from His Disciples.

He even washed the feet of His Disciples. May God give all leaders at all facets: families, communities, religions, governments, politics, businesses, organizations, etc grace to emulate the leadership of Christ, and be servant leaders.

Do you know the theme of Jesus' ministry?

Well it's GOD'S KINGDOM! Matthew 10:7

God chose few among those trained by Jesus to rule with him in heaven {Luke 12:32} because mankind has failed woefully to produce good leadership due to imperfection. Jesus taught his disciples that before any of them could expect God to invite him or her to be one of the little flock that will rule with Christ they must be totally different from human rulers {Luke 22:25-27} that's what a Jewish politician wants but when Jesus told him that he must do away with the wealth, prominence and celebrity lifestyle that goes along with worldly politics the man left in sadness! Luke 18:18-23

So forget about human rulers they've all been destined to destruction {Daniel 2:44} none of them can do what is perfect like God's chosen one Christ Jesus! Matthew 17:5


What we are eagerly anticipating is the kingdom of God {Matthew 6:10} to be led by Christ that is where righteousness will dwell! 2Peter 3:13
