The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has terminated the contract of Super Falcons coach Randy Waldrum, ahead of the Bayana Bayana clash. Waldrum, appointed in 2020, led the Falcons to impressive results, including the 2022 WAFCON semi-finals and a strong showing at the 2023 Women's World Cup, where they narrowly lost to England in the round of 16. There were temporary concerns about a potential split after interim coach Justin Madugu took charge recently.
