As the match against Villa approaches, Guardiola provided updates on the fitness of Stones, Ake, Walker, and goalkeeper Ederson. Guardiola expressed skepticism regarding Walker and Ederson's availability, stating, "I don't think so. John maybe, but [Walker and Ederson] no chance."
