I Need Help Navigating Legal Options After Unpaid Contract Work by Annad1: 10:10am On Apr 18
Good morning

I'm seeking advice on a challenging situation. I recently completed a contract with a private academic firm, but despite fulfilling my obligations, the owner has refused to pay me. It's been two months since the contract ended, and despite my efforts to reach out, I've received no response. I'm at a loss for what to do next. The owner has stopped taking my calls, and I'm not even sure where to find him as he is rarely in the office. This situation is especially difficult for me as I've been unable to work since February due to a hand injury from an accident. With a wife and a nine-month-old baby to support, I'm now facing financial hardship. Any legal advice or guidance on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

N.B. I didn't sign a contract with him this time around because I have been with him for sometime.
