This happened after a similar attack a few days earlier in a nearby community where 23 people were killed.

The bandits came to Hayan Habuja village around 3 p.m. on Tuesday after spending the previous night nearby planning their attack. During the attack, they shot and killed two people and took four others with them.

On their way out, they killed another person and kidnapped four more. The Birnin-Gwari Emirate Progressive Union confirmed the incident and urged the authorities to take action to stop these attacks.

The people in the area are living in fear because of these ongoing security threats.
