Greetings nigerians in spain, i need information on spanish citizenship

what specfic information are you looking for?are you already a legal resident in spain?for latin americans it takes two years of legal residency to apply for citizenship,while for other countries apart from of course europe countries 10 years of legal residency but if you get married to a spainish national it takes about 2 to 3 years i think

as a family member of a union citizen living in another country, u need to wait for five years to apply for permanent residence before citizenship because that's the EU law. but if its in ur wife's country, you will get it in 3yrs

@llbhuds , thats perfect your a great guy in my wife country i have problem with the language i have dual resident permit both in spain and in my wife country , but why i chose spain is that i speak perfect spanish. Thank you alot llbhuds muchas gracias

but to be honest with you, language is not a prerequisite for you to be granted a citizenship. law is law and it cant be swept aside because all EU countries signed the memorandum before it bcame a law. but also if u dont have an evidence to show that u had been living in ur wife country for these 3yrs (e.g working or studying, hospital visit, library visit) it might not be granted.

@llbhuds Thx bro, but forget europeans and thire laws , my wife is from east europe the buraucry here is killing, you must speak the language atleast average b4 you can be reconize as a citizen here well am on language cause already cheers
