LIFE AND TIME (Part 249)

LIFE: Living Into Future Enterprise.

TIME: Thinking Into Momentary Enterprise.

The same John who knew Jesus Christ from the womb later doubted his authenticity because of circumstances.

No wonder, love for God is the first and greatest commandment of all.

Love for God, is second to none in life.
2 Kings 7:1-2,17;
[1] Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria.
[2] Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
[17] And the king appointed the lord on whose hand he leaned to have the charge of the gate: and the people trode upon him in the gate, and he died, as the man of God had said, who spake when the king came down to him.

This is another general that was trampled to death as a result doubt.
Doubt made him unprepared in his heart and mind for the glory.

There are certain heights you attain with God, you have to long more and more for him no matter what may be happening around you because, as soon as you allow doubt, you’ll be called home.

Every height in life, both spiritual and physical comes with certain examination to activate.

This lord failed his test to higher glory, John the Baptist failed, Judas Iscariot failed because, lack of sufficient love for God gave room for doubt.

Beloveth child of God, there is an outpour going on now, draw closer to God in order not to doubt Him at this juncture.
