24-year-old Tunde Alade has been arraigned before an Ibadan, Oyo State Magistrate court for sexually abusing a six-year-old girl.

The prosecutor, Foluke Adedosu, told the court that Alade invited the victim into his room and forcefully defiled her.

According to Adedosu, Alade's action caused serious damage to the young girl's genitals, from which she now suffers pains.

The accused pleaded guilty to the crime and blamed his actions on the devil.
