Sasha has a camel toe and her hair is nappy. Charlie boy is feeling funky like in them music videos where a music star saunters into the party; a bevy of beautiful girls on his arms (Remember Usher: Yeah and P Diddy: Come to Me). But its not working here, something's not right. . .it's like he's too old for that sshhh. |

Charlie Boy made a name for himself by being totally unconventional and has being this way for decades. Back in the dayz when he was young and wild with a capital "W", people talked. Now he's older and has greatly toned down his style people are still talkin'. Bif all you want folks,it dosen't change anything; Charlie boy remains THE CHARLIE BOY, and there aint notin' none o' u haterz can do 'bout it! |

Wow! Jeffrey Daniel!! He choreographed, worked and taught Michael Jackson dance moves https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvtdUpodfiw [flash=200,200] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvtdUpodfiw?version=3&hl=en_GB"[/flash] Thats a blast from the past there and he's looking good without even trying to be (i.e. same age bracket as Charlie Boy) Jeffrey Daniel was a member of Shalamar with Howard Hewett and Jody Watley. Legendary choreographer that had worked with Michael Jackson, LaToya Jackson, Vanessa Williams etc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rb4vUxhow_s Am digging that afro! Yall old timers remember Don Cornelius of the Souulllllll Traiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin!!! fame Hands up if you're one of those that used to "steal" dance moves from Soul Train [flash=420,315] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rb4vUxhow_s?version=3&hl=en_GB[/flash] |

Re: Celebrities At Nigerian Idols Premiere Episode Screening by crispgg: 11:25am On Dec 03, 2011 |
I dont even bother to watch these Naija music competition shows. The thing is just to make money for the organisers. Tell me how many stars have they really produced. The few ones who have made it did it via their own efforts. Then the terrible singing. Haaaa!!! These guys go off key and I hear the judges telling them that they sounded like angels, yuckh!!!!! I puke!!! The y are just as bad as Naija home videos. I am better off watching American Idol etc |

Re: Celebrities At Nigerian Idols Premiere Episode Screening by nex(m): 2:03pm On Dec 03, 2011 |
@CrispGG It's from all these Naija music competition shows we got Omawumi O! On the issue of Mr. Charles Oputa, he should be taken care of. There should be some institution out there that can suit his needs. |
Re: Celebrities At Nigerian Idols Premiere Episode Screening by crispgg: 5:18pm On Dec 03, 2011 |
@Nex I know Omawumi from one of them. And I respect her singing prowess. Even the winner Timi, had to struggle to gather money to get his album out this year after many years of winning the West African Idol competition. The organizers disappointed the guy and left him high and dry! Right now we have Project Fame, Glo Naija Sings, Nigerian Idol. Name Five stars with Albums on sale who have come out from all these competitions combined. The best they do is have a single that fizzles out after a few weeks, then we never hear of them again. I play a little keyboard so I know one or two things about singing. I feel like crucifying some of the competitors after their presentations. When I expect the judges to point out their mistakes and guide them appropriately. All I hear is praise and worship for a terrible performance. It goes to show that they are more interested in presenting their show as the best than actually bringing out the best talent in the country. I have met a singer or two around who actually blow much better than what I see on these shows, so Im not impressed. |
