every month, lots of women suffer from painful menstruation, and heavy flow.progesterone is a hormone made by the woman's ovaries when she ovulates and in a smaller quantity by the adrenal gland.progesterone level in the body decreases with age.
insufficent progesterone causes virginal dryness, hot flashes and other symptoms in menopausal women.it also causes miscarriage.
with all these, it is therefore important to increase the level of progesterone in the body and this can be done through certain foods and drugs.
foods like soya beans eggs, walnuts, chicken and wild yams are good sources.
