Not sure why you need a mentor. You already have the tools and you are not a beginner. Just hit the floor running - You can start by trying to develop something. Spec out the design, and then start to develop its parts one at a time, using the resources you already have. If you have any specific questions or run into issues, you can post here and let folks take a stab at it.

Based on postings I have seen here, most of the so-called mentors will charge you for something you can pretty much do on your own.

Thanks a lot for your advice. Well i have a book by deitel on java how to program. This as been very help for my self study and easy to read and understand. Well the reason i seek for someone to look up to is just for guild lines. Because i believe every professional out their do have some one who put them through in their career before becoming what they are now.
