Like most CR direct-injection turbodiesels, combined with Audi's excellent sound proofing, you could be forgiven for thinking you were in a petrol-engined car. Big V6 diesel is quiet and refined, with strong pull from relatively low engine speeds. One of the few ocassions an automatic transmission works really well - with diesel power. Very frugal, 39 mpg can be stretched to 44 if driven sensibly, and the engine's full power isn't exploited. An excellent tow car, low-down torque of the big V6 diesel, combined with Audi's legendary quattro AWD will handle most bad roads and slippery conditions. Engine is fully Euro 5 compliant, so this is as good as it gets. Diesel engine will outlive its petrol counterparts by a huge margin, with regular servicing, up to 400,000 trouble-free miles are possible. AWD option places the Audi A6 quattro well above offerings from BMW or Mercedes-Benz. Requires specialist maintenance, not a road side mechanic's dream.[/b]

The adulterated diesel being sold these days are prepared on the grounds of Nigeria by some dubious suppliers, outside tank farms. You'll only get that when patronising *some* Private Marketers.

If you buy from Direct dealers like Conoil and the likes, who bring in their own vessels of Lab tested products for sale, you'll be getting the product you deserve
