FASHOLA TO VISIT LASU ON
WEDNESDAY!
The executive Governor of Lagos
state, Mr. Babatunde Raji Fashola
who also doubles as the Visitor
of Lagos State University(LASU) is
set to visit the crisis encroached
citadel on wednesday, December
14,2011. According to a news
release by the school
management,the Governor is
expected to officialy commission
the newly completed Chief (Dr.)
B.O. Benson (SAN) lecture hall at
the Faculty of Science by
10.00am.
The Governor's visit comes at a
period when the widely
acclaimed and highly respected
state University is faced with
students unrest which is as a
result of the recent school fees
increment. This has also led to
the indefinite suspension of the
Lagos State University Students'
Union(LASUSU).
Fashola last visited LASU on 28th
of June 2011,which was his
birthday to inspect ongoing
projects in the school.

What will he tell them,abeg no need for him to come,he should do the right thing expected of him.

25,000 naira is a little too cheap for Uni education to be honest, all the south easten universities pay at the very least 80,000 to 100,000 naira tuition fee, thats not too expensive but not cheep either, maybe Fashola should foll6w suit to ease tension, But i see where he is coming from. university education is not (and shouldn't be) for everyone. Most people should be attending technical school which is cheaper plus it equips them with skills to be self employed but everyone wants a degree in 9ja.

Ooo miss luvola he is cumin to visit dem for being africans best nd worlds 14th/7th best evn confused sef abt der world rankings nd for havin d best coll of medcine nd law faculty.

@ marshal - it will be ok if the fee is peg at 100k.chargin b/w 250,000-350000 for a public univ is just too high,they should consider the poor. lasu is currently the most expensive public univ in the country.
