I would love to have some advice from some music-business technocrats here. Am working on releasing an album and I want it to storm Nigeria and the rest of the world. The album would be nice no doubt, but how do I really hit the market? Do I just go as an independent artiste and just get an Alaba marketer to distribute my CDs, or should I get signed up with a popular record label? Which do you think is more effective for a first timer? Your advice would be greatly appreciated. |
