Aero, one of the most innovative airlines in West Africa has announced a Twitter competition that lets you recommend followers to its Twitter handle @flyaero and win flight tickets.

The competition could help increase the airline’s Twitter followers which is currently over 2,000 and further enable the brand to engage with its fans and customers.

For every 50 followers you recommend to follow @flyaero, you get a free return ticket and for every 100 followers you recommend, you get a free return ticket for 2 – you and your partner.

So if you get people to follow @flyaero on Twitter, they must mention you and @flyaero in a single tweet with the phrase ‘RECOMMENDED BY’ for it to count.

For example, the people you recommend to follow @flyaero should tweet ‘Now following @flyaero RECOMMENDED BY @techloy’

The competition is starting on 19th December, 2011 and ends on 2nd January, 2012. Aero wants to give away at least 20 free return tickets in the month of February as part of its Valentine’s month promo.

All winners will be expected to use their tickets during the month of February 2012.
