So their slogan says"Police is your Friend" yet at the slightest provocation and mistake, they Extort, brutalize or even terminate your existence. They use the benefit of Tax payers money, against the Tax payers. So how then can they say they are our friend, when they are public enemy.

"Police is your money's friend" is more apt.

It is not only in times of provocation and mistake alone, the NPF performs like armed robbers.

The fact remains that majority of NPF are armed robbers. The government and everyone in Nigeria know that, no secret.

The NPF use road blocks to extort money, kill and brutalize innocent people. Is that different from armed robbers?

The NPF is not a friend of anyone because they are working for themselves and only interested in enriching themselves.

even if d police is ur blood brother, he cant never b ur brother, let alone b ur friend.
d differences between armed robbers n police are:
armed robbers live secretly while police dnt.
armed robbers dnt use uniform while d police do.
armed robbers dnt ve office but police do.
armed robbers depend on thier robbery while police depend on both extortion and salary
armed robbers cannot be easily identified while police can be easily identified by their dirty black uniforms from far.
what a shameful country we are living in  angry

The police is your friend only if "You pay your tithe" (#20 soon to become #50 after subsidy removal)

But how do you expect the police who is underpaid, under-equipped and under-appreciated to be friendly.

Its like you buy a Lion and you dont feed it yet you want it to smile with you.  angry
