My laptod, a new toshiba L505D-S5965 got dropped. I tried to load an OS but wasnt able to as only function keys are now working(F2 and F12 to be exact) please what can i do to rectify it?

Dropped? Ouch. The problem should be mechanical fault or so. You may need to visit a technician for assistance. There is little solution that can be proffered here without a physical examination of the PC.

Probably, a keyboard change might work! In the mean time, to confirm if its just the keyboard thats faulty, get an external USB keyboard plugged in and boot up. Should the keys function properly, then you are lucky! Visit a technician/service center for a keyboard change.

Thanks maleeq, av tried a usb keyboard and its not working also.
