shooting music videos at 75,000 is a horrible way to usher in your business. No matter how basic the shoot is, if you are anything remotely professional, you will not be taken seriously even if it is a "promotional" offer. Reconsider your position, as such moves devalue the overall worth of a product.

thanx for your opinion. but to me its more of a give-back and introduction of the brand into the market segment intended.

i'm not just any guy with a camera shooting videos like the norm in Nigeria, i'm qualified. with BA Hons in Audio Technology Specialist at Thames Valley University Ldn and a MSC in Digital Video.

And as you may have read, I said the first five clients. i've already got 2. and let me state that the cost does not include editing. as i said, dats just shooting on location and directing your project. the money is not the main focus of the offer but the attraction and availability in an industry full of rip-offs and so on.

So I must thank you for your opinion. But it is what it is, for the moment.

the logic and intention is proper, but my reaction was primarily triggered by the figure stated. Regardless of the big picture, i just can't help but feel that this amount makes mockery of professionals even if you're only directing and shooting.

I by no means intend to troll your efforts, or undermine your visions. So, that said, i hope to see your works in the future, coz truth knows that Nigeria desperately needs better filmmakers. Good luck, but don't count on that; put in work.

Honestly the 75,000.00 is not too bad, assuming you have a demoreel at hand. People mostly take one more serious when they have samples showcasing their capabilities. I'm juspeaking from experience. Hope to see your 'works' soon.
