Please anyone to enlighten me,I am wedding a Nigerian lady based in America,do I need to fill the special wedding form & pay N34,000 as govt fee simply because the address of my wife is American?pls I'm facing troubles over this & need to know how not to fall a victim£ of this extortion.

Is ur sister based in nigeria?the officials @ D registry claim its 10k if couples are based in Nigeria but if one is based overseas its 34k,that is why I'm confused as I don't know what difference the address makes to make the difference that high

Go to d federal one just opposite it. Ɣ☺Ʊ pay 1k for a start, then 5k after 21 days during d oath taking. Shikena! If Ɣ☺Ʊ like be based in d moon,nothing more than dat.

Its not their fault, na their own state policy be dat. But Federal registry na carry go for everybody n they r even more recognised n accepted internationally than all these local govt or state registries.
