Lost my less than a month old bold 5 blackberry device some days ago, I don't want to block it just yet; is it possible to ever get it back considering this is the era of sim registration? Can neywork operators save me from this heart. Break? I'd appreciate your input thanks

Its just that u need to be intelligent about the retrival, the BB pin is one of the feature u use in getting it back because the pin is dedicated to the phone only, Try to ping the BB when ever the phone is activated. When u ping it and their is a reponse, do not claim the ownership of the phone immediately rather try to keep in touch with the owner by knowing his/her likes/interest. Then from there u track d person. U need to be very careful when u are doing this. Wish u all the best.

@Tyoseni: thanks it doesn't appear to be on BIS for now cos my pings are not delivering. I'm waiting patiently. I tried calling customer care but I never got through to a customer care rep probably because they're operating with few workers as a result of the strike. I'm upbeat

U don't need to call customer care if u hav retrieved d line just try to ping yur BB or else, Call customer care nd ask dem for d last transactns done wit yur line.

Guy,BB doesnt work indoor.Hv tried it b4.Moreover,the person will just uninstall it.That is the end of tracking.

I tried pinging it for the first 2weeks, it wasn't delivering but it showed sent. Now my msgs are delivering which means the home boy/girl that stole it is using it on a BB plan or has sold it to someone that is using it on a BB plan. I have a 15% belief that I would get it back. I have another phone now but that doesn't mean I should close the chapter, you guys know how much that fone cost right; and u also know Dangote is not my dad.
