Victoria Azarenka powerful serve will come into play today but I'll be rooting for MaSha's experience to seal this one
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by femzy(m): 9:40am On Jan 28, 2012
These two have faced each other six times before and the head-to-heads could not be closer with each woman having three wins over the other already under their belt. The only thing that may make the difference is that Maria Sharapova has been in this position before, she has won Grand Slams; this is Azarenka’s first Grand Slam final
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by femzy(m): 9:41am On Jan 28, 2012
I think the 1st set is key

Yeah, and I think she might be overwhelmed by the occasion, but if she can pull through, I see her nicking this

and what the hell with the double faults

That's normal in the women's game.

Inconsistency in Modern day womens tennis is no more news.

Experience is another bigger key
Vic is really struggling to start
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by FOD(m): 10:02am On Jan 28, 2012
The errors are now flying in off Maria's racquet.
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by Santino1(m): 10:04am On Jan 28, 2012

My logo 4 today, "Azarenka  all the way"
I like the way she migrates defence to  attack with some good level of Accuracy
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by femzy(m): 10:16am On Jan 28, 2012
My mum keep asking me why she(Sharapova) goes farther behind the baseline after every point
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by FOD(m): 10:19am On Jan 28, 2012
I'm impressed with her game so far. She's done well to overcome the early nerves.

I was expecting a one-sided final, as the recent grand slam finals have been.

Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by femzy(m): 10:24am On Jan 28, 2012
Doesn't make sense to me why players challenge calls on their 1st serve when they simply have another chance to serve another. Is that some greed in play or what?
Re: Tennis: Australian Open 2012 by FOD(m): 10:28am On Jan 28, 2012
Fear of double faults, perhaps!
