Please Nairalanders help me. I have been told I to try this medium. I have been diagnosed with appendicities.
I was at my work Hospital where this was discovered when I had severe stomach pain. I also have all the symtoms and I fear it may have ruptured.
I was asked to go and see a specialist and surgeon so it can be operated on immediately to avoid complications.
However as I speak to you it's been five days already and I have no idea where this can be operated and most importantly the cost. I have no money now and I am thinking of pushing it till the month end but the pain increases daily. If anyone has any information as to the treatment, please help and if you can refer me it will be appreciated. I need to know what the cost of this surgery is so I can atleast no where I have to start from.

You need an appendectomy FAST, there is no other way to relieve appendicitis, you can enquire from the hospital that diagnosed you if they can give you a referral letter to LUTH(since you need a specialist), it's a pretty straight forward surgery, once you do it you can be discharged in like 3 days.
