Why is it that rice is the main food eaten in every nollywood movie`?

haha, i wonder d same thin' too. That's 'cause naija doesn't have much food except d local ones, which they probably consider "local" so they're maybe kinda embarassed to use them?? undecided

maybe you don't know what rice means to millions of Nigerians (Sunday Sunday, xmas, new year, independence day, easter, birthdays, wedding, parties, even picnic)

Ans: yes, becos the producers are too lazy to take time to prepare meals that reflect our identity. Imagine Hollywood movies, they ensure that if its a scene with a meal, the food will look so real, so elaborately prepared etc. but in nollywood, they can spend so much on the female lead's costumes, but during meals they'll cover empty plates and pretend to be eating. Highest, there'll be a miserable plate of rice on display. Stingy movie-makers tongue.
