Hello Nairalanders,

I just acquired toyota camry, but the car came with tinted glass (non factory fitted). Does anyone now where I can get the glass film removed. Any Help would be most appreciated. I have been harassed by several police men already.

Easily removable by your mechanic if it is the film type and not factory tint.

What about factory tint?

You may not be able to do anything on that except change the glass or obtain a permit.

Thanks for the feedback. But am a bit apprehensive about just giving it to any mechanic, they might just mess it all up,

removing it is not something difficult, its something you can do yourself by tracing where it start/stop and tear it from dere, as easy as ABC or better still give it to a rewire/panel that will remove the glass
