my system just wont come on, i mean when i push the power button,noting happens, no power ,no ligth, just noting, what could be possibly wrong? could it be the mother-board or what? please help ( its a p4, 2.26hz) |

COULD BE UR POWER PACK. WOT HAPPENED THE LAST TIME U SHUTDOWN/USED IT. DO U HAVE A UPS OR SURGE PROTECTOR? |

okx, i`m doubtful if its the power pack, cos i used a tester a the terminal of the power buttons and its shows that there is power at the swicht.thanks anyway. if its truly te mother -board that`s bad is ther anything i can do? |

possible 3 things---one of them: 1. bad motherboard 2. hard disk drive crashed 3. bad RAM memory card |

1 check the power cable fuse out 2 Power supply fuse may be bad 3 The Computer on/off switch may also be faulty |

Power surge! Check the system for loose connections, remove the CMOS battery and pull out the power cord totally for about 5minutes. Plug everything back in. It should work. My previous desktop (Dell X150) used to behave like that and that resolved it all the time. You could try it out too. |
