Be honest na, when results don’t go well, we sack managers, and every new manager gets 200-300 million in two years to buy players, what else do we want? The team has changed overtime (since Mou left), but then we keep saying an overhaul is needed even though the team has changed. Having football brains at the top is fine, but you can’t have ex-players as CEO, MD and COO of the club. It can’t happen in any football club. Yes, DoF role, shey Fletcher and co are not football people? I honestly don’t see an issue with what the owners are doing which is try to recruit the best manager available and release funds to the club to buy players. Owners won’t scout and buy players, they won’t come to the field and tell players how to play or the manager how to do his thing. One thing I realize though is every manager comes in with his own system, which means different players, different style, different approach etc. but then other clubs fire and hire managers with different systems and they still get it. E.G Real Madrid, Chelsea. So why is Utd’s different?
