eph12:It could be a one time clause but highly doubtful since clauses like his tend to last till the players current contract runs out or till he leaves the club.

Just watched the highlights of yesterday's game. And i now fully undastand why those jobless haters always pounce on every opportunity to troll every match we dont win. Once this team clicks and they build some chemistry amongst themselves, we'll be very hard to contain. Anyways, still dont gve a shiit about Mourinho but am happy we seem to ve abandoned that defensive mentality as we're now more offensive-minded. Still not convinced with all these our midweek games tho. At least, not until we start replicating our weekday performances on weekends. |

couldn't watch the match last night. who wore the captain's armband yesterday, considering both Carrick and Rooney were on the field? |
Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 4:14pm On Dec 01, 2016 |
Carrick cannot play all our matches. He has to play one game per week the most. This is why it important to keep Schweinsteiger ready and match-fit to be able to play some of the games. Carrick wouldn’t be fresh if used often. Last season, Gaal rotated Carrick and Schweinsteiger in the role until injury hit both of them. |

sylvalord: Before EPL era, there were particularly matches fixed to end in goalless or score draw in all divisions of English and Scottish league. After the league was rebranded, EPL matches are not fixed again, perhaps only far lower division matches. These matches were fixed for Football Pool (Coupon) purpose. According to Football Pool compilers and bookmakers those days, they would write that football Pool was the exclusive preserve of the British Royals. So those days, one could forecast and predict results of certain matches by painstaking study of FA fixtures as arranged in a Coupon from number 1 to 58, or study the forecast papers made by those who were given the privilege to know some results and were sworn to oath of secrecy. So for instance, in the Coupon arrangement, there could be a key (system) where anytime West Ham is on Coupon number 3 playing at away to a team that it's first alphabet is A (Arsenal, Aston Villa) , on a week 10 fixtures, all the teams occupying number 13, 23,33,43, 53 will be produce 4 draws out of five. The one that played a W letter team (let's say Wimbledon, Wolves, etc) the previous week will be the one not end in a draw. And the system/Key will be made to work 5 times. After which the bookmakers make it popular to ruin people the Sixth time. Or may be a bookmaker, that is a maker of research paper who is one of the few individuals privileged to the secret draws (Chief Ehi Obinyan was the only Nigeria I knew had that privilege, there were some British guys, all these guys were very rich), when they flash the picture of sir Alex Ferguson on their front page, then Aberdeen will be fixed to draw that week. Then the system will be made to work only 6 times across two years. These are just examples, systems and keys come in different form. Many nights of study of fixture couples for past weeks, months and years could pay off. Some of the bookmakers sometimes sell keys, but finding a genuine source was a problem. Some bookmakers helped people who rendered help to them. Like the story of a man who unknownly helped a bookmaker with a flat tyre. Weekly Fixtures were arranged in a Coupon from number 1 to 58. English teams occupy from number 1 to number 40, while Scottish teams arranged from 41 to 58. But later the Coupon was reduced from 58. Premier league teams occupy from number 1, while then followed by Championship teams, etc. Only teams playing at afternoon in England and Scotland are used for fixtures. Early kick off, late kick off, Sunday, Weekday matches are not used for football pools. Only 3pm/4pm Saturday matches are used. From week 38 or week 40 when all the English divisions are on break, the Coupon shifts to Australian league which was always very more difficult to forecast. 7 Likes |

[b]"I am always expecting this, especially because we are playing so well. Sometimes when you are not playing well, you are hoping that something happens for you to score a goal – a set-piece, a corner, a mistake, individual action. "But this is not the case as we are playing so well and we are producing so much that the normal thing is to score goals and win matches. We are doing it in the cups: four against Feyenoord, four Fenerbahce, four West Ham. In the Premier League, apart from four against Leicester and three Swansea, the matches were all about zero and one. "Everton is Everton, I play against Martinez's Everton, Moyes's Everton and it is always difficult. "It is always beautiful with a great crowd and a great stadium, which is historical for my country as Eusebio scored four goals in one match there during the World Cup in '66. "I had so many great matches there. Some of those games I lost, some I won, but always a great match. The way United is playing, combined with the way Everton always try to play, means it should be a very good match." - Jose Mourinho [/b] |

"Of course he can [stay beyond January]. When you have a contract with the club you are the powerful one - you can decide your future. "In the summer we tried to make something happen for Bastian to get a different future, but he was the powerful one and decided to stay, even in difficult cicrumstances. He worked for that and deserved the happiness of the last match... I like people who are determined." - Jose Mourinho |

"Everybody was happy as when he [Bastian] was not training with the team he did it with a professional way. "He was struggling, because it is not easy, but he managed to do that without getting injured. He was continually working for a month, so we saw this as a good opportunity for him to play a little bit... He is one who can help us." - Jose Mourinho |

"He [Martial] is working harder than before, to be honest. When you score goals I think it helps for happiness to be back. As an attacking player you can play very, very well, but if there are no goals then the happiness is not there." - Jose Mourinho |
